This is a rare July 1979 "Performing Arts" program from the Pre-Broadway engagement of the ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and TIM RICE musical hit "EVITA" at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, California. (The show would open September 25th, 1979 at the Broadway Theatre in New York City and run for 1567 performances.) .....
Winner of seven Tony Awards including "Best Musical", the show starred PATTI LuPONE (Tony Award) as "Eva Peron", MANDY PATINKIN (Tony Award) and BOB GUNTON and featured MARK SYERS, JANE OHRINGER and TERRI KLAUSNER .....

The oversized 58 page playbill measures 8 3/8" X 10 3/4" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers, individual bios and photos of each of the leading actors and members of the creative team and several production photos .
There is a crease on the front cover, and a bit of a scratch. On one of the inner pages there is a spot on the two facing pages... But it is not in the section on evita. See photos.
