Gearbox GB50 converted to butterfly bug catcher trout fly fishing net handmade

I'm not the original owner.  I thought it was a trout fishing net when I bought it.  I could not find it though on any internet searches.  We now believe that someone used a racquetball racket, removed the strings, and converted into a fish net.  Or it could have been made to catch butterflies and bugs.  Clever, looks to be well done.  The hand grip size on the handle is a 3 5/8".   The mesh net has a rubberized feel.  Could be an anti skid for under a rug???   Total length with handle is approx. 21.75".   Across the net outer rim to outer rim is approx. 10".  Deepest point on the net is approx. 12".  I don't know for sure what the frame is made of, modulus graphite??   See pictures, ask questions, NO RETURNS.
