This is a lightly used but still crispy
"Dez"
or 10 Patacas
note from what used to be
"Portuguese"
but is now Chinese, Macau. It was issued by the
“Banco Da China”
and dated December 8, 2003. Macau is both the most densely populated spot and the largest gambling center in the world.
The oldest European settlement in the far east was in 1557 when China
"rented"
Macau to the Portuguese. It became the last European settlement in the far east and lasted until 1999 when the Portuguese left. The words
“Dez”
and
“Banco”
are holdovers from the Portuguese.

A lightly used specimen. It has seen some hands and has been folded vertically but not horizontally. It has no edge or body tears and no pinholes. It will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
